Welcome to my homepage !


This page is reflective of my interests which include genealogy and the War Between the States. Having an interest in genealogy has given me a renewed appreciation for American history. Through my research I have discovered six ancestors who served in the Revolutionary War, two ancestors who served in the Union Army and five ancestors who served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.

When I am not doing genealogical research, I enjoy Civil War re-enacting. Confederate of course! I belong to the 9th Texas Infantry, which is one of the most dedicated reenactment units in the hobby.

Finally, I am blessed with a wonderful wife, 2 healthy boys ages 13 and 9, and I'm employed as a nuclear medicine technologist with the most talented and respected cardiology group in Tyler.
